Books for Kids
There are so many fantastic books for small children, from babies to little ones. My kids have gone through a bookshelf full of picture books and these are some of their favorite picks.
The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson
Illustrated by Axel Scheffler
A really beautiful book about the smallest creature having the biggest adventure. The rhyme takes the imagination to amazing places. And when the tiny snail saves the enormous whale, he doesn’t feel so small anymore.
This duo also brought us Room on the Broom, which is so good it deserves its own entry.

When I read this one to my kids, I find myself growling like a dragon, shrieking like a witch, croaking like a frog, and basically just having a blast. The power of friendship, loyalty, and sticking together.
